Problem with scales?

I think there is a problem with the scales feature. An Am scale should have all of the same notes as a C major scale, that is all of the white notes on the piano keyboard. The program doesn't show that.

This guy is right ...check the A --Aeolian
scale, it should be same as a c major scale
the Aeolian scale is wrong

Hello Skip,

sorry, but I still don't see the problem:
the Aeolian scale based on A highlights all white keys from A to A and that's the way it should be as I understand.

For reference a link to Wikipedia:

Hello John,

first thanks for your message.

Please explain more detailed what you think is wrong:
the best would be if you could send me an e-mail and attach a screenshot of Piano Chords and then explain what you would expect it to display in a different way.

Best regards
Andreas

do you know the notes in the scales of the dcrohs youre using? if so:adding the 7th note of the scale will give you a sound of suspense.adding the 2nd, 4th 6th notes make different far out kinda sounds, you call those 9th, 11th and 13th dcrohs (as though you add the number onto the top of the scale, confusing i know but its pretty simple)repeating the 5th is totally hardcore.sticking a flat 5th in there (if it's a minor chord) will make the song sound sinister.in fact, you can add pretty much any notes from the scale in there, one rule is try not to repeat the 3rd note. just experiment.
