| Hi!
Thank you so much for creating an easy to use lightweight app that does exactly what is advertised. My question is how can I change the email subject on the notifications. We are primarily an IP based shop here and for quick refrence I would like the email subject to be the descritiion and the status. for example: Check: 10.1.1.5 (ping) I would like something line Check: ROUTERNAME Status: Ok Check: <description> Status: <status> The information is in the email, but would be very useful in the subject becasue of how many devices we monitor via ip. thanks for you help! | Hello,
editing the e-mail template is possible now in the new version Check Host Pro with many new features. This way you can keep the e-mail short to use it as SMS notification, too. You can find a list of new functions of Check Host Pro here: http://www.ab-tools.com/en/software/checkhost/moreinfo/ Of course, the old Check Host will stay freeware. But please understand that due to the extensive development effort for the extended version Check Host Pro, we cannot make this new version free of charge. Anyway, it is available at a very affordable price of only 29,95 �. I would be glad if you would give Check Host Pro a try. | I see where I can change the email in the CH-en.rd file - but when I make changes to the text in that file the program crashes.
ideas? or do you have the software locked so any changes to that file cause it to become unstable? Thanks! | |
